Sinclair and Gringorie Castle
SCOTLAND

Girnigoe Castle consisted of a keep in the 1400’s.  Additional construction occurs from 1476 to 1496.  Castle Sinclair is built in 1606.  Both castles are garrisoned in 1650, besieged in 1679 and abandoned in 1700.  The paintings represents its appearance in 1998.
