Portpatrick
SCOTLAND

Portpatrick, dating back some five-hundred years, is cut into steep cliffs.  This village is built adjacent to the ruins of Dunskey Castle.  It's position, on the south -west tip of mainland Scotland grants views of the Northern Irish coast that can be viewed in the painting.  The work
depicts 2008.
