Brodie Castle

Brodie Castle is surrounded by a forest and small lochs.  The structure began in the 1100’s and was greatly expanded in the 1500’s and 1600’s.  The castle was burned in 1645 and suffered another fire in 1786.  The castle was expanded in the 1899’s under the guidance of architect William Burn.  Brodie was recently remodeled in 1980.  The paintings show the castle in 2006.
